OFFSHORE WORK EXPERIENCE

• Carry out Procedure Qualifications as per Preliminary WPS.
• Carry out Welding Consumable Qualification as when required by Client.
• Carry out Welder’s Qualifications as per the Qualified WPS.
• Checking of Ovality of Pipe, Cement Coating, Random Checking length of the Pipe after Beveling.
• Manual checking of the Bevels for GMAW and SAW, SMAW, FCAW welding Procedures using .
• Inspection of Fit Ups in Station 1 and Visual of welds after Final Weld Visual before NDT.
• Monitoring the online welding parameters as per approved WPS.
• Checking the pipeline arrangement according to the drawings i.e. Anode arrangement, Concrete Thickness etc.
• Carried out MPI & UT (Lam Check) after beveling for pipes when reused after Cut-Out in NDT.
• Interpretation of Radiograph films.
• Good Hands on experience in AUT Automatic Ultrasonic Testing.
• Carried out Welding repairs according to certified welding procedures
• Checking of Surface preparation, Blasting Profile & preheating before Field Joint Coating.
• Holiday testing of field coatings (HSS) before HDPU Filling.
• Carried out Peel test & HDPU Foam Testing like Density & Ratio test as per Inspection Quality Plan.
• Carry out repair on Field Joint Coating & 3LPE as per the approved procedures.
• Visual inspection of SSIV’s, Branch TEE’s and other valves before Installation
• Inspection of fabrications of lateral spools according to certified drawings.
• Making Final QA/QC Documents for Marker Pipes, Pipe Joint Identification Records, Buckle Detectors, Coating Reports, Foam Sample Reports, Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification, Welding Consumable Qualification etc and getting it signed from the Client and Third Party.
  

• Correlate all the required Speciation/ Procedures & Codes / Standards applicable to the Project.
• Monitor / Maintain records of Calibration of all the Inspection Tools & Measuring Instruments.
• Monitoring / Maintain Log & Storage Conditions of Coating / Painting Consumables as per the Project Specification.
• Carry out PQT prior to production as per required the Project Specification.
• Carry out Training & Qualification of Blaster & Applicator Personnel as per the Project Specification.
• Inspection carried out as per the applicable inspection Test Plan & Project Specification.
• Witness Destructive and Non Destructive Test.
• Ensure that weather conditions (viz. Relative Humidity and Dew Point) are suitable for surface preparation and paint application.
• Inspection of Blasting & Painting Activities in the Firing Line and fabrication shop.
• Ensure that the surface cleanliness and surface profile of blast-cleaned surface are in accordance with the specification requirements.
• Ensuring Painting / Sleeve application activities carried out to the company’s standards and specifications.
• Making / Maintaining Final QA/QC Documents getting it signed from the Client and Third Party.
• Identify quality problems and follow up non-conformity and recommend corrective and preventive actions on a continual basis.
• Ensuring the required safety standards during all the stages of Coating / Painting operation.
• Guiding the project teams on the areas of improvement and the quality team to enable them to complete their tasks effectively.
• Interaction with client at regular intervals and review of customer complaints and tackling appropriate actions.
• Impact training for personnel’s and conducting competency tests for lower personnel.

• Liquid POLY URETHANE coating like DENSO PROTAL / PROTEGOL for Field Joints of Cable & Umbilical Housing Pipelines.
• High Build Epoxy Coating for Offshore Structures.                                 

• Checking of Cleaning & Preheating of joints before field coating as per the approved procedure.
• Holiday testing of field coatings (HSS) as per the approved procedure.
• Carried out Peel test as per the approved procedure.
• Carry our repair on Field Joint Coating & 3 LP as per the approved procedure.
• Witnessed stage wise inspection of painting & insulation of Pipelines, Exchangers, Valves, Tanks & Structural. This include surface preparation (Manual & Shot blasting), Checking the DFT of various coats with Elcometer 456.

• Stage wise inspection of Material Receiving that include material identification & offering its test report to the client.
• Stage wise inspection of fabrication of Bottom Plates, Shell Course, Roof & Other ancillaries of the tank
• Stage wise inspection of Fit Up, In Process Welding, & Final Visual.
• Witnessed & offering reports of various NDTS like Vaccum Box Test, Kero chalk / Diesel test, DPT, Holiday tests, MPT, RT before & after fabrication to the client for approval.
• Hydro test.
• Maintains proper Paper work such as work permits and other paper works regarding to inspection & billing.
