Working as a Project Manager. Project involves the Detailed engineering and Procurement of 15 wellhead facilities, flow lines of total lengths 130 KM and 300 MMSCFD gas processing plant including H2S removal plant, dehydration plants and offsites & utilities. Responsibilities include coordination with client, Packagers and team of various in house discipline engineers. The following activities involve in the project.

• Preparation of various tender documents including Amine Sweetening Units, Dehydration units, Power Generation & WHRU, metering package, line pipes, instrument & nitrogen generation package, hot oil package, oily water separator package etc.

• Bid evaluation of the packages, equipments / materials which include technical and commercial evaluations.

• Preparation of contract documents between OGDCL and Suppliers

• Review of vendors design

• Participation in Design review meetings, HAZOP and FATs

• Ensured execution compliance with the Schedules and contractual obligations and constrains.

• Tracking Procurements of Packages/ equipments and materials

• Participation in Progress review meetings

• Detailed Engineering design of storage tanks, piping, pipelines, wellhead facilities, civil engineering, E&I detailed engineering works

• Construction Supervision during erection / installation of plant and pipelines

• Assistance in commissioning and start up

Overseas Participations

• Participated and present Country Paper of Pakistan in Workshop on Innovation & Sustainable Strategies for the Growth in Process Industry, Organized by Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in Singapore, October 21-24, 2008.

• Two visits of UK for HAZOP study and design Review of Power Gen Sets and WHRU with Siemens UK for UCH II Development Project.

• One month deputation to ATG Sharjah office for finalization of overseas design assignments.

• Six visits of Dubai for Design review meetings and HAZOP studies for Amine and Dehydration packages with the suppliers for UCH II Development Project.

• One visit of China for witness of Hydrotesting of Heat Exchangers for Condensate Refinery Project.

• Developed project schedule, performance Curves, and arranged human resources.

• Review of P&ID’s and Participation in HAZOP meeting.

• Development of Checklist for LPG Processing plants as per API 2510 and for Storages Plant as per NFPA 58 with other international codes & standards.

• Physical Inspection of Plants.

• Review of documents and data collected during inspection

• Compilation of Inspection Report

• Re-inspection (if required)

Basic & Detailed Design of BPL’s Regeneration facilities Project.
(June 2007 to September 2007)

Worked as a Project Manager. Responsibilities included the coordination with client and team of various discipline engineers to carry out the Basic & Detail engineering of the project. Project involves the provision of regeneration facilities for NHT & Platformer units of Byco Pakistan Limited. The following activities have been carried out during the project.

Basic & Detailed Design of BPL’s Flare Revamp Project

Project involves the provision of new PSVs and revamp of Flare system of Byco Pakistan Limited. The following activities have been carried out during the project.

Basic and Detailed Design of OGDCL’s Bahu Development Project.
(June 2006 to December 2006)

Worked as a Project Manager. Responsibilities included the coordination with client and team of various discipline engineers to carry out the Basic & Detail engineering of the project. Project involved 04 wellhead facilities, flow lines and receiving facility at processing plant. The following activities have been carried out during the project.

Worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities included to carry out the front end engineering design of the project. Project involved the Front End engineering design of 15 wellhead facilities, flow lines from wellheads to process plant and gas processing plant. The following activities have been carried out during the project.

• Review of PFDs and P&ID’s and Participation in HAZOP meeting.

• Development of plot plan.

• Development of Specifications and data sheets.

• Prepare piping material specifications and piping material requisitions.

• Pipelines elastic bending, upheaval buckling calculations etc.

Detailed Engineering and Procurement of PAPCO’s White Oil Pipeline Project: USD 340 million
(January 2001 to August 2005)

Worked as a Lead Pipeline Engineer. Project involved 780 Km cross country pipeline of dia 26 inch, including one storage and pumping station, three intermediate pumping stations and one terminal station, overhead crossings etc. Responsibilities include the coordination with client, Packagers and team of various discipline engineers. The following activities involve in the project.

• Review of PFDs and P&ID’s and Participation in HAZOP meeting.

• Site visits for collection of data

• Perform surge analysis & telescoping of pipelines on Paula Plus Software

• Pipelines elastic bending, upheaval buckling, column separation, max. unsupported length, buoyancy, anchor flange and pipeline thickness under road and railway crossings calculations etc.
