Experienced International Inspection Engineer

Overall work experience of 13 years as inspection engineer  in Construction installation, fabrication, erection and running plants familiar with all techniques used in inspection and repair of oil , gas equipments including Petrochemicals, Oil Refineries, Pipelines, Fuel Storage Tanks, boilers, furnace,  Cryogenic (LNG) Tanks Plant Piping, Power Sector, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchanger and other oil field equipment. Having Rich experience in LNG Tanks, piping its process and Commissioning, authorized inspector in NDT methods and their application of equipment and piping monitoring and inspection, direct inspection, experience in a major oil and gas plants covering process inspection, condition monitoring, welding, corrosion detection, monitoring and prevention, shutdowns inspection activities.  Well conversant With API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, NACE, TEMA and HEI.

(LNG) Spanish Egyptian Gas Company (SEGAS) for liquefied natural gas located in Damietta from the October 2004 up to now. I attended the construction and initial startup period of the plant

As a QC /QA – Inspection engineer in QC/QA department carrying out engineering inspection and quality assurance to the required degree, with regard for safe working practice, and to report on the conditions found by data obtained by physical measurements and NDT techniques with the following responsibility:

• Participate during initiation, preparation and all modifications of QC department different  Inspection plans (PRV'S, lifting, static & piping plan) of the company.
• Performing all types of inspections, calibration and tests for different types of existed  equipment during normal operation and during S/Ds (PRV'S, lifting, static &piping) and make  all supervision activities, work distribution for contractor's inspectors.
• Anticipate and assist to adjust all the QC department plans on the OCEN maintenance system to be ready by acceptable way for implementation.
• Arrange, distributes, follow up and review the work of contractors plant inspectors work.
• Preparing all the requirements during internal and external audits – ISO certifications – by  continuously updating the quality records and participated during documents preparation and modifications (procedures and work instructions).
• Prepare on OCEN system all the work orders related to our plant defects founded during  implementing the static equipment plan , PRV'S plan, lifting plan , piping plan , NDT for all the plant pipe lines.
• Very good experience on Cryogenic Heat exchangers manufactured by APCI Company  and performing leaking Test in all Stages of the tube bundles.
• Responsible for construction and inspection of different type of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipelines, oil heaters, coolers, cryogenic heat exchangers, re-boilers, separators, gas boots, LPG bullets, air driers as per specification and standards.
• Visual inspection and load tests for my company lifting equipment and the entire Contractor's lifting equipment such as (Mobile cranes, over head cranes, jib cranes,  Forklift, slings, shackles, tirfors, man lifters...)

• Review and approve the welding procedure specification (WPS),  WPQR ,WQT ,QAM, QAP , ITP and testing the welders and check the welding performance before, during   and after welding.
• Carrying out preventive inspection surveys, coordinating inspection activities on site
• Populating the data base of the inspection program plan and conduct specific inspection  activities based on plant need.
• Maintain and ensure non conformance reports for in house and vendor performance when necessary and corrective actions, preventive actions are implemented to avoid Re-occurrences.
• Vibration analysis for the rotating machine by snapshot data Collector and REDAS System 1™
• Final inspection of spools and release for NDT.
• Organization & auditing and supervising all the activities of the quality control contractor
• Review and approve the (NDT) procedures and make a Procedure for the repairs if any.
• Review and approve equipments and material certifications
• Check consumables storage and handling (storage condition and certifications).
• Radiography interpretation.
• Monitoring of welder performance and repaired rate for the project.
• Overall responsible for inspection of incoming and bought out materials.
• Verify material description, type and grades at fabrication stage.Review and approve WPS ,supporting WPQR, repairs welding procedures  and    Approve WQT on basis of specification ASME IX
• Review and approve NDT procedure on the basis of specification and
• ASME V and inspection and test plan (ITP)
• Supervising painting activities (sand blasting, painting system classification, dry film Thickness)
• Prepare punch test, test package, review as built isometric drawing, flashing, heat Treatment and pressure testing.
• Carry out Boroscopic internal inspection any time required.
• Carry out positive material identification process based on material analysis.

Onshore& offshore facilities with the following responsibility:

• Failure analysis for equipment such as, pipe line, oil heaters, heat Exchangers…
• Maintenance and inspection of oil tank storage.
• Supervision of installation of corrosion monitoring system for Crude oil, pipeline at  Eastern desert field.
• Inspection of pipeline, pressure vessels, cranes, and boilers, separators, Gas boots.
• Responsible for QA/QC activities at shop and field.
• Final inspection of spools and release for NDT.
• Weld visual inspection as per requirement.
• Inspection of raw material and heat number verification.
• Lines punching test pack clearance and documentation.
• Responsible for all NDT (visual, LPT, MPI, UT, RT, Vacuum box test)
• Responsible for all documents of tank and piping for release of hydro test.
