Product 1 – BCloud/CloudIt (Jul 2012 –till date)
Duration: 1 year 10 months

Description: This product was built as part of Barclays ROLB (Retail Online Banking), under its umbrella of products called ping it. The product basically is an addition to Barclays’ Business cloud, and hence the name BCloud, later also referred to as CloudIt. The application provides the user to upload documents of any kind and any format.

Environment: Java 1.5, JSP, CSS, log4j API, Junit, JBehave, Oracle, JavaScript, JQuery.

Responsibilities:
• Understanding of clients UI, DB and service engine framework.
• Understood client’s JUnit framework and developed test cases for CloudIt.
• Provided support with promptness and also trained third party vendors to continue providing support.

As senior software engineer have worked with GT Nexus Software Private Limited for over 4 years (4th June 2008 – 13th July 2012).

Product 1 – Purchase Order and Order Management (Feb. 2011 – Jul 2012)

Duration: 1 Year 6 Months

Description: A purchase order (PO) is a commercial document issued by a buyer or customer to a seller, indicating types, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services the seller will provide to the buyer. Sending a purchase order to a supplier constitutes a legal offer to buy products or services.

Environment: Java 1.5, J2EE 1.4, JMS, Web services, JSP, JSP custom tags, EJB 2.0, PL/SQL, JavaScript, JSTL, CSS, HTML, XML, Junit.

Responsibilities:
• XML based communication to and fro with the customers’ required inbound messages to be read and outbound to be generated.

Product 2 – ISF (Importer Security Filling (10+2)) (Apr. 2009 – Jan. 2011)
Duration: 1year 10 Months

Description: The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had announced a new rule, known as the Importer Security Filing (ISF) or more commonly called 10+2; which requires cargo information, for security purposes, to be transmitted to the agency at least 24 hours before goods are loaded onto an ocean vessel for shipment into the U.S. 10+2 is pursuant to section 203 of the SAFE Port Act, and requires importers to provide 10 data elements to CBP, as well as 2 more data elements from the carrier.

Environment: Java 1.5, J2EE 1.4, JMS, JSP, CSS, XML, log4j API, JUnit, SQL Server 2005,SQL,PL/SQL GWT.

Responsibilities:
• Writing SQL, PL/SQL queries, DMLs, Stored procedures and triggers.
• Involved developing new generic GWT UI framework was required to be built.
• Newer UI widgets were required to be built similar to their JSP tag counterparts.
• Production issues required minimal turnaround time to be fixed.

Product 3 – Shipment Planning (Jun. 2008 – Mar. 2009)
Duration: 10 Months

Description: GT Nexus Shipment Planning starts with factory-loaded or consolidated products being placed into a draft shipment plan. The shipment is planned to result in the optimal mode, carrier, route, and equipment selection with a goal of on-time delivery at the best cost.

Environment: Java 1.5, J2EE 1.4, JMS, Web services, JSP, JavaScript, JSTL, CSS, HTML, XML, SQL Server 2005.

Responsibilities:
• Required clear understanding of the complexities of the product and the business area of the application.
• Designed and developed several big features to meet customer needs. Some features required a very narrow turnaround time.
• Provided production support consistently.

As a software engineer have worked with Adroit Claretdene Infotech Private Limited for 2 years 7 months.

Project 1: Pipeline Sales Management (Jan. 2007 – May. 2008)
Duration: 1year 5months

Description: The Project deals with the development of an online application for sales team and account manager of Cedera System for managing their leads & opportunities.

• Was involved all through the design of new enhancements to the existing system.
• Developed enhancements on Java and JSP.

Project 2: WorkBase Tracker (Jan. 2006 – Mar. 2007)

Description: This application was developed for Valium Technologies private limited, to evaluate performance of employees based on their logged work and evaluate the percentage of tasks completed on individual and team basis.

• Was involved all through the design of new enhancements to the existing system.

• Developed enhancements on java, JSP and struts.
