Duties and Responsibilities:

a. Responsible for Pre and Post Inspection of a machine.

b. Checking the battery, lights, oil, water, brakes, air, and fuel of the machine before operation. Clean and lubricate the equipment. Refill equipment tanks.

c. Also looking for the missing or loosing items, leaks and other visual checking.

d. Checking the function of the moving parts while the engine is running. Checking also the ground condition to determine whether the equipment is safe for immediate use.

e. Our company is one of the sub contractor in our city we specialized in oil and gas pipeline construction,

Water drainage, cell site and road construction.

f. In construction of a pipeline clearing and grading the land is the first step in construction of a pipe line.

We as an excavator operator are responsible in digging trenches and we make sure we dig the specific dept given by the authority in digging trenches. In digging, I make sure the dept, width and cleaning the surface using my bucket is according to the plan and provide safe work environment. We also aware to the installed pipe and utilities previously. Considering people working around my equipment, establishment, overhead power line and passing vehicle.

g. A Backfilling trench is my last job after all specific test by the authority to make sure the pipeline construct in a perfect way.

h. Construction of water drainage and road construction more often construct at the same time. As excavator operator we dig trench for water pipes and I used my equipment to load the pipes to lower into the trench. In construction of a Cell Site, I dig the foundation or the base of the tower, and they put mix cement in the base of the tower.

i. Aside from operation, we fixed any kind of diesel engine problem like overhauling.

j. We troubleshoot hydraulic system problem, transmission problem and differential problem.
