Job Responsibilities at Kuwait Processes For Petroleum Equipment & Facilities Co. W.L.L

 Crude oil production facility (Unique facility as there are no settling tanks till the dehydrator & runs on the well head pressure) with a capacity of 120 MBOPD of medium API gravity & sweet crude oil, 100 MMSCFD of associated gas and 80 MBWPD of associated water. Having process – Oil, Water and Gas Separation, Oil Dehydration, Oil Desalting, Oil Stabilization, Recovery of Vapors, Gas Compression and Water treatment for injection wells.

 To monitoring continuous process parameters, controlling/optimization the production, trouble shooting and analysis to processing/separation of Water, Salt, Oil and Gas from the crude oil obtained from different field (Wells) with zero accidents

 Monitoring, troubleshooting and implementation the corrective actions for Slug Catcher, Three- Phase Separator, Electrostatic Dehydrators and Desalters to process the crude oil

 Optimizing day to day operations performance and smooth functioning through better coordination with other departments (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, and Safety)

 To coordinate with DCS operators (Provide operational guidelines as and when required) for trouble free operation and major process parameters such as Flow, Temperature, Pressure, Interphase Level, Voltage gradient in Desalter & Dehydrator, Wash water ratio in Desalter and Mixing Valve Pressure (ΔP) to improve the quantity & quality of export crude oil.

 Monitoring the flowing Crude Oil & Treatment Chemicals (Evaluation of the performance) such as Demulsifier, Gas/Oil Corrosion Inhibitor, Antifoam and water injection chemicals like – Biocide, Oxygen Scavenger, Water Clarifier, and Scale Inhibitor

 Maintain inventory of various chemicals, consumption pattern, replenish desired quantity in a manner so as to ensure adequate requirement covering contingency at site all the time.

 To ensuring the quality of crude oil (BS&W, API gravity, RVP and Salt content below 30 PTB) and produced water quality with cost/ consumption optimization of treating chemicals

 Lead Coordinator with chemical vendors – CECA, Champion Tech, NCPI- Kuwait & etc. for implementation of chemicals (Prior to Bottle Test, Field Trial & etc.) and generating the reports

 Attended the training on HSEMS and ensuring compliance to PTW system (Cold / Hot / Radiography / Confined Space / Vehicle Entry), Job Safety Analysis, Tool box talk and etc.

 Working as a QA/QC Engineer (Unit Head) since 1st November, 2012 to till date

 Reporting to Facilities Manager, Operation/Maintenance Manager and Operation Superintendent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES DURING PLANT MAINTENANCE SHUTDOWN SEPTEMBER – 2012, MARCH & SEPTEMBER – 2013, APRIL & NOVEMBER-2014

 Worked as an active member during the plant shutdown/ startup for periodically maintenance activities. And lead Engineer with Corrosion Control/Inspection Management

 Ensure as per P&ID- leak/hydro/pressure test of vessels, Line flushing, Vessel flushing, Nitrogen purging, depressurizes, vent, draining and vessels cleaning with maintenance team.

 Plan and evaluate/inspection (as a QA/QC) the Three-Phase Separator, Convective Heaters, Electrostatic Dehydrators, Desalters, Clarifier Tank, Flotation Cell and Chemical Injection System consulting with Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, Safety & Corrosion team

 Responsible for evaluate the process pipelines & vessels thickness using Ultrasonic (NDT) Method and compare with technical specifications and economic factors relating to process

 Experience in installing of (Corrosion Coupons and Corrosion Probes) retrieving, measuring, selecting and evaluating corrosion monitoring system by Corr Ocean, Italy

 Experience in pig cleaner, reviewing of water injection wells with KOC team

 Independent night shift in charge (Team Leader) of about 50 peoples (Engineers, Supervisors, DCS Panel Operators, Safety Officer, Technicians & Assistants) to boost up the plant maintenance activities to with zero accidents
