Work Experience:

Kaefer C&D Group: March 2014 – Present

Runcorn TPS: I am Currently Working on the Runcorn TPS Project as a TIE. I have been Applying Rockwool and Superwool insulation with a Plastersol finish outside on Steam mains to Ash hoppers and the same insulation spec but a Stucco Embossed Aluminium finish inside for the boilers and any of the Surrounding Pipework.

Bilfinger Industrial Services: Sep 2010- March 2014

I worked for Bilfinger industrial services as a TIE and I served my apprenticeship in the company on various sites around the North West;

Innospec, Elsmere port: I have worked on various different aspects of lagging on Innospec including refrigeration, general pipework (hot and cold), Tanks and vessels and columns. I have also spent my time in the metal shop making everything needed to complete the jobs from start to finish e.g.: casing, elbows, bends, flange/valve boxes.

Innospec Widnes: I have also spent time on another Innospec site in Widnes, this site is more focused on one aspect of lagging and finish which is calcium silicate and stainless steel finish. I have used this method on tanks, domes, columns, pipework.

Essar Stanlow: I have also worked on every shutdown and project Bilfinger have had on Stanlow over the last 3 years from the CD4 Boiler project to the OMP turnaround shutdown I have recently completed working on. During my time on Stanlow I have gained valuable experience on working on big projects and tight deadline shutdowns to which everyone completed has gave me more experiences to help me on future works on any site I have worked on thereafter.

BP Kinneil (grangemouth): I am currently working on the kinneil site in grangemouth docks. We are currently finishing the TAR 2013 shutdown and other maintanence work around the site.

During my time on all these sites for Bilfinger I took up many different roles e.g: measuring pipework, Taking charge of teams, making materials needed for job, ordering materials among other duties.

MSL ltd: March 2010- Sep 2010

I worked for MSL who are a prodomently Heating and Vent Insulation company. I worked on various projects in and around the North West. During my time working with the company I worked on the a refurbishment in Aintree Hospital changing consultation rooms in to X-ray and treatment rooms insulating the air conditioning and pipework in various places, i took charge of the team, ordered materials among other duties. I also worked in the Royal Exchange in Manchester City Centre, and other projects around the Manchester area taking up the same role on all sites.

Kitsons Environmental ltd April 2009- Dec 2009

I worked for Kitsons Environmental for 8 months on the Langage Power Station in Plymouth. I worked as a labourer hoping to secure an apprenticeship at the end. This didn’t happen but I gained valuable experience into the Industry during my time here and at the end knew this industry was what I enjoyed and would like to become a part of.
