2002 – 2009 Groundworker, Balfour Beatty
Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Excavated trenches for foundations supports on a number of different commercial and private engineering contracts
• Laid piping, irrigation and other drainage systems ensuring all specifications and where followed and match contractual standards.
• Monitored and sites and ensured all surplus materials where either recycled of disposed of via the correct storage or waste disposal methods .
• Undertook responsibilities for office Health and Safety, actively cleaning to site and removing any possible hazards.
2000 – 2001 Pipeliner, Kennedy Construction
Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Carried out checks on irrigation and water mains pipework, ensuring all maintenance was as specified in plans and other site information manuals.
• Co-ordinated with other site agencies in the specifications and lining of new lines on site.
• Carried out scheduled maintenance on site on seals joints and valves.
1998 – 2000 Groundworker, Bywater Pipelines
Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Completed basic relining of water pipes on various sites across the Tees Valley.
• Dressed sites with flexible footpaths and concrete walkways for public use.
• Clean tools and carried basic maintenance of machinery, these included diggers, rotators and basic hand tools.
