I joined the team during a cultural change within the company. Fuerst Day Lawson was moving from a shipping company to a more customer service based company offering clients a more bespoke service and a higher product quality. We produced tighter contracts for our Asian suppliers and introduced extensive quality control of the products purchased. The increased understanding of our clients needs allowed for purchases to be made specifically to a the standard required by the end user.

We also extended our knowledge of shipping and handling of hazardous chemicals, putting into place reliable systems which easily handled the increased regulations of the industry.
