Commis chef seeks new opportunity


Given the opportunity I would love to gain the trust of the and hopefully prove myself to be a valuable asset to the establishment.I aspire to be a recognised chef in South Africa and expand my culinary knowledge and experience.

As a Hospitality graduate as well as a food enthusiast I am familiar with the culinary department , as of profession I have worked as a class c chef at the Moses Mabhida Stadium for three consecutive years as of 2017 to the beginning of 2020.Duties included: preparing elegant and gourmet buffet foods for clients in the suites provided at the stadium as well as distributing the food to all available suites for those particular events, which also included stock taking prior to major events. I also am a part of a small team of chefs who do catering for functions such graduation parties, birthday parties as well as family gatherings.

I have also obtained a Diploma in an international language which is French, as a culinary enthusiast I participated in a cooking contest at a convention which was hosted at the Durban ICC arena by the SACA(South African chefs Association).I also worked as a customer service agent at CCI for an international campaign  so I pride myself in providing the best service as possible for clients. which will help me be a renowned chef and hopefully travel the world introducing our cuisines to people of many countries.

I have an eye for detail so plating is not a problems and I have impressive knife skills as well as plating plating actually cooking, grilling and everything I between.I have obtained a qualification in Hospitality in which I studied 4 years in and also managed to get a Diploma in the French language.I am also part of a team of chefs who cater for events such as birthday parties,weddings,graduation ceremonies as well as family gatherings we provide a range of services from different types of cuisines a client would love to have at their function as well as a bar where I also prepare drinks for the people at the function.

Interests & Hobbies:

I love cooking and trying new recipes in my free time as well as trying out new things once in a while but I am a bubbly person in the right setting. I also like learning new things in general not only in the culinary world but of the world around me I love reading in my spare time when I have a new book I am glued to it like a child with a new toy.
