Flagship project for the design and build of an Integrated Vacuum product, servicing the micro-electronics (micro-chip) manufacturing industry.

Project Manager (Integrated Systems).


• The development of an integrated system to provide vacuum and process abatement (making process gases chemically safe) to micro-electronic manufacturing industry. The system converts toxic, pyrophoric and other gases used in these processes to ensure they meet legislated standards for subsequent release into the atmosphere, or other disposal.

• NPI and Project development; taking the core product (every machine is bespoke) from concept to market.

• Planning, coordinating and progressing all aspects of the mechanical and electrical design, production and build of bespoke variations of the core product to customer specifications.

• Technical & logistical support of inaugural commissioning for integrated systems

• Support of 180+ machines (pre-release sales).

2006 – 2011 Project Engineer – Airbus UK (Contract) Bristol

Reporting to the Fuel Test Facility Lead Engineer.

Project engineering the design and build of a full sized Fuel System Test Rig to create a facsimile of the entire internal wing structure and fuel system. Functionality included environmental replication: pitch, altitude (pressure simulation), temperature extremes.

Project value: circa 5M€.
