During my undergraduate studies at Loyola College, Chennai, India; I was an active participant in co-curricular activities and have participated in out-reach programs as well as other programs organized by the Rotaract club in my college. Among other things, I was responsible to supervise sub-committees who were in charge of fund collection, as well as, organize the seminar hall. The program was a success and witnessed nationwide participation.
The dissertation for my master’s program related to migrant remittances and the factors influencing it. The dissertation was highly quantitative involving personal research and use of statistical package; STATA. I have used various tools of the package and conducted statistical tests to check the integrity of my regressions. The master’s program on the other hand has acquainted me with the latest developments in the field of development economics, by way of continuous referral of publications and journals.
