PROFFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Metal Services for Trading & Contracting Co. – Construction Manager/Coordinator December 2011 – Present

EPC: TRANSPORATION OF TREATED WATER FROM TAIF TO MA’ADEN MINE SITE – 463,833,981.00 SAR

Responsible (under the Project Manager) for all aspects of a 420km treated water pipe line (with adjacent FOC) which includes the provision of two pump stations in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia.

o Supervise the Project Control team to ensure the Monthly Progress Certificates and invoices are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.

o Ensure all proposals are submitted and agreed in advance of teams moving to locations.

o Ensure all change orders/re-measurable are recorded, submitted and agreed prior to construction starting.

o Co-ordinate with Procurement and Vendors to ensure materials are delivered in advance of project requirements.

o Co-ordinate the moving and relocation of all manpower and plant as necessary to ensure best progress is achieved.

o Continually in contact with the client and their representatives through regular meetings and site visits.

o Organise all site activities and ensure (through Liaison Officers) required permits are in place prior to mobilisation to new work areas.

o Perform pipeline front-end constructability reviews and field execution planning.

o Produce the project construction deliverables to the schedules set by the Project Manager.

o Oversee the quality of the project construction deliverables.

o Ensure the implementation of the project procedures.

o Ensure staffing levels are in accordance with work force plans.

o Oversee, monitor and manage project construction contractors.

o Coordinate site construction activities, identify and manage all stakeholders

o Provide feedback/input during the recruitment process to ensure qualified personnel are selected.

o Integrate activities of contractors, consultants, users and senior management. Liaise with appropriate Client representatives;

o Identify technical and functional problems and coordinate resolution as appropriate

o Review and approve/decline progress claims and variations

o Oversee close-out activities of the construction site.
