Position : QA/QC Engineer (Welding/Piping)

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Checking of pipe spool fabrication based on approved spool isometric drawing & bill of materials. Piping spools daily Fit-up & welding inspection reports and arrange the NDE activities.

 Review of test packages for welding and NDT completion, issue release for hydro static test and witness of the same.

 Preparation of the Proposal for the Welding Performance Specifications based on the codes, standards and project requirements. Witness the Qualification of the Welding procedure, welder test, Witness the Mechanical test for the Preparation of PQR and doing the necessary Documentation/ approval.

 Experience in QMS system development, implement and maintaining all documents & records related to production quality control and assurance dept.

 Performing Incoming material inspection, verifying vendor’s material certificates in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards.

 Preparation of Test Packs individual system wise, which includes material certificates, welding history records, NDT reports, equipment & installation and alignment report, hydro test reports etc, and getting client’s approval.

 Review of test packages for welding and NDT completion, issue release for hydro static test and witness of the same.

 Welding procedure qualification (PQR), welder performance qualification (WPQ) and continuously monitoring of welders performance for maintaining welding records.

 Performing internal audit for other projects and subcontractors to make sure that the quality system adhering to the QMS and project quality plan.

 Performing Incoming material inspection, verifying vendor’s material certificates in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards.

 Carrying out preliminary inspection of materials of construction & reviewing the material mill certificate.

 Inspecting the weld fit-up of joints prior to root pass & visual inspection of final weld, conducting penetrent test on welding joints.
