I have over 25 years of senior management experience gained across a broad range of industries including Engineering, Construction, ICT, Agri food, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Energy and NGO’s. I am accustomed to reporting and presenting at all levels including at board level.

I understand the telecommunications market, specifically the requirements of the corporate broadband market, the technical jargon, the competitor landscape and the ‘pain points’.

I recently completed a BSc in Digital Technology and Design where I led a cross functional virtual-team (web, app, game developers, project managers, digital marketers, sales professionals and designers) working in an agile project management environment, to re-design the Help section for a prominent IP Telephony organisation.

As an entrepreneur I set up Visible Software Solutions and managed the development, end to end, of this enterprise CRM product for Handling Complaints in the Financial Services Sector. I also set up Managed Network Services, a telecoms Reseller and grew the business over three years before exiting via a trade sale.

I am an accomplished marketing manager with a range of successful international projects undertaken in my career to date. These projects have included brand development, multi lingual print & video production, international trade shows, website construction, product launches and social media campaigns.

I have worked in various capacities with an array of international brands including Vodafone, State Street Bank, ESB, IBM, Symantec, Telefonica, Avonmore, Queally Group, CJ O’Shea Construction.

I am an award winning presenter with wide experience in both radio and TV. I completed an MA Media in 2011 and received first class honours for my thesis entitled ‘An Exploration of the Use of Social Media in Cause Related Marketing Campaigns in Ireland’. I was subsequently awarded the inaugural DIT scholarship and spent four months working with Renewable World, an international NGO focusing on the use of renewable energy to address issues of poverty in East Africa.

Uniquely my career is supported by extensive experience as a volunteer. I made a successful presentation to the Dáil sub-committee on Foreign Aid securing €250,000 for a project to house at risk teenagers in Northern Albania in 2005.
