Product: Flat-TV.  Initially on a nine month contract, it has been renewed fourteen times.

Working in a CMM Level 4 organization at Philips, a leader in Consumer Electronics with a strong leadership positions in Flat-TV. Responsible for design, development and maintenance of diverse PC desktop tools, used for both manual and automated testing of TV products. The tools are implemented in Visual C++ and Visual C# with advanced multi-thread UI, consisting of 300K lines of code, and are being used across multiple Philips sites, Singapore, the Netherlands and India. The duties also include design and development of real time Embedded software, development of various software components using C-language. Problem solving in TV SW-application, parser and code generation tool, creating test scripts and test automation using Python.

Recently tasks included creating both test specification and test harness to the relativity new technology WiFi-Direct. The feature allows the Audio/Video/Image of a WiFi Mobil device such as phones, iPad,  tablets, laptops etc. to be played on the TV.

Worked as Embedded Software developer and member of a team that was responsible for design and development of low-level software, including device drivers and all communication protocols. HDLC, SPI, I2C, RS232, I2C, BOOTP, Ethernet, BIOS/firmware, RAMDisk, FPGA, FLASH, EEPROM, PCMCIA, uP 68000, PowerPC, Intel 8051-family, pSOS/VxWorks operating system.

Responsible for creating diagnostic software for different HW-components. Responsible for porting various software component and device drivers from C to C++,  after getting training in C++.
