Currently I am working as Operation Engineer in Oil Movement Department.

Job responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor the smooth and safe discharge of crude oil tanker into shore tanks.

Supervise, monitor and control the safe and efficient loading operation of Export Naphtha and Lube Base Oil (LBO) into tanker by monitoring tanks’ Ullage, pump discharge rates etc.

Interactions and dealing with Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for products dispatching, calculating issued quantities.

Prepare monthly production report containing receipt of Local and imported crude, Storage quantities of Crude and Oil Products, dispatch quantities of products to OMCs and product export, Oil quantity loss as a result of Evaporation and Ocean loss.

Carry out 60/60 calculations of Crude Oil, Export Naphtha and LBO Tankers, Local 85 degree calculations for White Oil (MS, HSD, JP-1, JP-8 etc); Monitor and control petroleum products’ quantity by SCADA and ATGs.

Prepare a variety of daily and other periodic operations and activity reports, daily jobs list and send them to assigned maintenance departments.

Ensure that the company’s Health & Safety & Environmental (HSE) Policies and Procedures are adhered to within the workforce; Develop ,review and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures )and ensure their proper implementation

Involved in audit based on IMS (Integrated Management system); Fully aware of permit to work system, HSE Regulations, Emergencies response plans.

Job responsibilities:

Carry out inspection of vessel as per client’s requirements; Responsible in safeguarding client’s interest and the integrity of the Vessel.

Prepare and send “Situation Report” mentioning the political situation, issues and any incident in the storage facility.

Job responsibilities:

Overall inventory control from crude oil plant feed to finished products dispatching to OMC’s; Calculate and optimize the injection quantities of Chemicals used in End Products (JP-1, JP-8, HSD and F.Oil) to keep the quality as per standards.

Prepare daily summary sheet containing oil movement and storage quantities (i.e. stock, Ullage, plant feed, issued, receipt, and product supply plan); Carry out different design and process calculations i.e. pump rating, evaporation losses in tanks, fire alarm switches etc.

Supervise and monitor loading and unloading of fuel oil and local crude bowsers (trucks); Prepare, verify and maintain fuel oil loaded and local crude received quantities and weighbridge documents; Participate in the preparation of the department budget with particular reference to non routine operating and capital budget.

Suggest plant change modifications and review of PFDs and P&IDs for recommendation; Liaise with external auditors and provide required documents/information.
