Job Profile

Shipping Agencies Division

 To Manage and monitor all operational activities related to container division

 To Manage empty container yard.

 To Maintain excellent relationship with yard operators and outsourced team members.

 To lead team of operations and ensure time and efficient services ae provided to customers

 To ensure the faster release of containers and availability of containers is always maintained at higher levels than expected.

 Handling Principal and agencies lines.

 Control and monitor container movements, maintain equipment inventories at ports, containers stock, and to managing imbalances in service in trade markets.

 Understand all contract terms with shipping liners and port operators.

 Ensuring all detention and demurrage charges are collected accordingly from responsible parties.

 Preparation of container inventory statistics, checking of all maintenance and repair bills  from depots and vendors.

 Prepare the weekly, monthly and annually statistics reports as required by Principals.

 Liasis with Riyadh Dry Port contractors, Principals, Freight Forwarders, Consignees, Shippers, Transporters.

 Attending the all ISO QUALITY AUDITING (ISO 9001:2000) internal and external.

Terminal In-Charge – Kanoo Terminal Services (Transportation)

 Overall responsibility on the operation of the terminal.

 Maximum utilization of the terminal/equipment so as to have added revenue.

 Maintenance of local truck/handling equipment to have control and adherence to maintenance schedule, preventive maintenance etc.,

 Ensure good communication on between maintenance and operation to minimize equipment downtime.

 To utilize the available man power as well as equipment to increase the productivity as well as cost effective.

 Much attention to be paid on the safety, security and health wizard.

 To have effective the planning to accommodate high volume of containers for storage etc.,

 To constantly update the management about the pulse of the market.

 Stacking of different type of containers to be planned and clear layout to be prepared and

communicated to all the staff accordingly.

Reporting Relationship

 The position reports directly to Branch Manager and Principal Mnagement.

Principal Accountabilities

 To ensure sufficient inventory for the ports as per agents requirements.

 Ensure weekly reports on inventory situation update to management

Invoice Verification

 Ensure of consignee freight invoices are correctly verified.

 Port invoices for storages, lift on and off, maintenance and repair are checked and verified.

Reporting Updated

 Ensure shipping operation services software correctly updates all reports accurately & timely.

System

 To follow up and upgrade for better container tracking system.

Decision making, Recommendation and advice

 Make decision and daily basis for empty report from ports with excess inventory to deficit ports.

 Advice trade on a weekly basis on the inventory position on all lines.

 Recommend to management if and when needed to dispose of old units.
