PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am a qualified time served and reliable joiner with a lot to offer! I have up to NVQ level 2 in site and bench joinery, with 5 years experience with apprenticeship and site work.

I cover all aspects of the joinery such as lowering the ceilings, doing the stud walls, plaster boarding both when ready! Putting in suspended floors and laying down chip board flooring. Replacing old floor boards with new raising floor joists to bring floors back in to level. Fitting door casings and then hanging the door and fitting the latch packs, applying the architraves and skirting boards, laying the laminate flooring, creating the window sills and fitting the kitchens! I  have also done tiling in the kitchens and bits of plastering and painting work as well. I have worked alongside a plumber for the majority of my time doing the joinery for him in the bathrooms and then helping fit the bathrooms such as fitting the baths and shower trays and shower doors, the sinks and toilet and then plumbing up the hot and cold feeds to the taps. Hanging and fixing the radiators! I have my health and safety certificates, first aid certificate, and fire safety certificate. I also carry certificates for using nail guns and circular saws.

I have all my own tools to do the work in hand and have a full valid UK driving license.  I do not smoke.  I keep myself well presented and tidy and never leave any job uncleaned. In my spare time, out of working hours, I like to train and keep fit, including having competed in karate for the last 18 years.
