(CWG is a JV Group consisting of 5 different organisation which are Impregilo S.p.A, L&T, Ansaldo STS, Bombardier Transportation Ltd and Nesma & Partners,

ArRiyadh New Mobility (ANM) – Constructing Line 3 of Riyadh Metro which is the longest line at 41.2 km. The route is mostly elevated along the western part of Al – Madinah Al Munawwarah Road, then underground in bored and mined tunnels in the central section of the line, and generally at grade along Prince Saad Ibn Abdulrahman Road in the east.

Line 3 features 22 stations, 4.6 km of bored and mined tunnel, 25.0 km of viaduct with maintenance depots at the West and East extremities. Contract Value: USD 6 Billion.

Materials Testing / Laboratory Manager, Nov 2010 to March 2012 (Was upgraded to QC Manager effective April 2012)

Project • Chenani-Nashri tunnel on NH 1A, Jammu & Kashmir: Construction of approximately 9km of 2-lane (13.3m dia) main tunnel along with parallel escape tunnel (5m dia) in the lower Himalayan mountain range. The tunnels are located at an elevation of 1200m with an overburden of up to 1km and are being constructed using the NATM technique of sequential excavation and support. Value: USD 500 million.

• Report to the Project Director and lead a team of 30 in managing all field quality control activities assuring adherence to specifications & quality plans.

• Monitor and ensure that the quality of the materials used for shotcrete, Lining Concrete works, Rockbolts of the tunnel complies with specification & standards.

• Ensuring the water proofing material, such as Geotextile and Membrane are complying to the specification before & after installation

• Manage 2 material testing laboratories at both portals of the tunnel including scheduling of daily jobs, ensuring availability of testing equipment & material and calibration & maintenance to provided uninterrupted quality control support.

• Ensure strict adherence to project Quality Plan and inspection & test procedures in all QC activities.

• Coordinate with project teams to resolve all QC issues and contribute to the achievement of project milestones.

• Managed the quarry for supplying aggregates of specified quality.

Lab Manager / QA – QC Manager, Jul 2006 to Aug 2009

Project • Strengthening and widening the carriage way from 2-lane to 4-lane of National Highway 11 (Agra to Bharatpur) in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. India

• Reported to the Project Manager and led a team of 30 in managing QC of soil, aggregates, concrete and asphalt works to meet project specifications and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) standards.

• Conducting the mix design of various grades of Concrete and developed job mix formula for Asphaltic Concrete like Bituminous Macadam, Dense Bituminous Macadam and Bituminous Concrete.

• Looked after the maintenance and calibration of all testing equipment and instruments to comply with project requirements.

• Monitored progress and generated monthly reports & bar charts to facilitate achievement of milestones.

• Coordinated with project execution teams and external stakeholders like client’s Personnel’s, third party inspectors, independent engineers and the concessionaire to resolve issues related to materials, quality, testing and internal audits.
