Engineering carried out in 3D environment for this brownfield project.

Sub-contractor selection for Membrane Biological Reactors (MBR), RO, Ultrafiltration and Deoiler packages.

Qatar Shell GTL Project

Engineering Manager and responsible for all engineering delivery as part of the Contract for the Provision of Engineering Design, Construction Supervision and Procurement services with Qatar Shell for their Pearl GTL plant.

 

Pearl GTL is the biggest GTL plant in the world producing Liquid fuels from Natural gas utilising Shell technology.

 

Responsible for all activities under this contract including engineering and leading the team of engineers and designers for multi-discipline engineering covering Access, Select, FEED and Detail Engineering, Procurement support and Construction Supervision.

 

Works includes engineering for both greenfield and brownfield projects and are awarded under separate work packs.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited is setting up a 15 MMTPA grassroot refinery at Paradip, Orrisa state in India and Foster Wheeler is the PMC and the major EPCm contractor.

 

Responsible for complete engineering of 4 refinery units viz. Alkylation (ExxonMobil), Isomerisation (UOP), Sulphur Recovery (Black & Veatch) and Spent Acid Recovery (Monsanto) units including Licensor and Client co-ordination. Other responsibility included resource plans, budget controls, Procurement Support and Change Management

 

Work executed at Kolkata with initial work set-up and executed out of Reading, UK.

 

Total manhour for above portion of engineering was 435,000 in India and peak manpower was 175. Engineering progressed to 60% by November 11 and then handed over to EPC contractor. Balance period in PMC role.

 

 

Sriracha Clean Fuels Project : EPC

ExxonMobil project at Esso Thailand Refinery at Sriracha, Thailand to meet the revised specification of automotive fuels. Responsible for effective workshare, project setup, engineering and procurement functions at IEC. Work primarily executed from KEC and will extend till December 2010 involving about 167,000 man hours.

 

 

Woodside LNG Train V As-Built Project

Worked as Project Co-coordinator (for last 2 month of project duration) for preparing as-built documentation for Woodside Burrup Ltd LNG Train V Project located at Karratha, Australia. The work involved preparation of as-built drawings / documents based on mark ups received from site and delivering all as-built in time to get the financial incentive. Work carried out from KEC and involved about 32,000 man hours.
