Achievements

  • Implement cost saving ideas for a certain wiring harness and save 1.2 million for a particular M300 model.
  • Resolve a long pending chronic issue, radiator coolant leakage issue in one of a model.
  • There were a great support to GM vehicle assembly line, where there were a critical part shortage situation raised for Tavera cluster.

 

Projects/Assignments

  • Successfully implemented QSB-system (Quality System Basics – min 3 month duration required) at different critical suppliers. As it is one of the major global quality systems followed in GM. it used at the supplier facility to improve the quality management system and maintain a flawless supply to GM.

 

  • Successfully completed Red-X project and got certified journeyman in GM global level. Basically GM uses this Red-X a high technique problem solving tool for solving any critical issue where root cause is unknown or difficult to analyise on the vehicle condition. ( Beginner level- Apprentice, Mid level- Journeyman, Expert- Master)

  • Conduct Potential Supplier Assessment (PSA) / Process Control Plan Audit /Capability checking.
  • Conduct APQP program review & support midyear change & product Launch.
  • Monitor supplier adherence to Process Change Notification (PCN) and for any type of engineering change (EWO/TWO) on a timely and cost effective basis.
