Currently I am working as FIRE ALARM ENGINEER - MAINTENANCE with REDA TRADING AND DEVELOPMENT CO. FOR MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT LTD FIRE & HAZARD DIVISION Since Dec'15.
I am a graduate in Electronics and communication engineering and had also done training in Industrial automation.
I have always enjoyed working with people and think my previous experience will allow me to work as part of the team and to be an effective representative of your company.

Professional Experience

Ceasefire Industries Ltd. ( JULY; 12 – DEC; 15)

Installation and commissioning

Lead commissioning for fire/life safety program related document reviews, site inspections, and system testing, and site management, procurement/ engineering coordination.

To take along the Project from Concept to Commissioning.

Testing and Commissioning of Intrusion alarm detection system/fire alarm system/ Escape lighting system/ Home automation / CCTV(analog and IP) / Intrusion Detection systems/perimeter detection system/ Access control/VDP’s/Sensor lights.

Commissioning of Suppression systems: server rack (fm 200) and gas release (fm 200, CO2).

Knowledge of current British Standards and legislation (BS5839, BS5266), EN /UL/IS standards of Installation and commissioning.

To identify system conditions that are abnormal, to determine their cause, and to recommend corrective actions Complete understanding of NFPA 72 and other codes regarding Testing and commissioning.

Worked on and done programming of Open Protocol Analogue Addressable, Conventional, Hybrid and Wireless Fire Alarm Systems.

Maintenance

Inspecting and testing of Suppression systems: server rack (fm 200) and gas release (fm 200, CO2).

To Trouble-shoot the problems after the installation of the fire alarm systems, fire suppression system.

To implement / schedule a maintenance plan and responsible for the overall direction, monitoring, coordination and control of the entire preventive and corrective maintenance job

Technical Support

Responsible for providing the technical support to the market through in-depth understanding of our technical capabilities and customer applications and Acts as technical consultant.

Understand the technicality and operational logic behind the working of the product.

Generate technical paper/article and application notes.

Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Fire alarm / Intrusion detection other security related system

Vendor management

Managing supplier relationships, including contracts, product assortment, communications

Responsible for inventory management, vender engagement, updating price list.

Coordinate with the international technical support/sales teams of vendors at various levels from purchase to sale to service.

Handle the ordering of all required products and equipment

Training

Preparing for and conducting demos and deliver the proof of concepts along with sales team.

Training System Integrators on products distributed by the company.

Create sales tool (proposals templates, customer presentation, data sheets, demonstration, training to help increase the productivity of the sales team and provide pre sales technical support to the sales team and their customers to increase their awareness towards the product.

Technical Trend Analysis

Identify technical trends as well as current and future customer’s system requirements.

Represent the company on various national/international events.

Assisting in the market research for innovative products being launched in international markets and prevalent best practices in industry

Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

Leads and recommends new continuous improvement solutions for installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within specific fields of endeavor.

Tendering

Responsible for working and studying on the tenders / RFPs, identify the system specifications and requirements, choosing the most prompt solution and products that map the client’s requirements.

Finalize the product requirement as per the tender/RFP.

Generate documentation for tender execution including Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Technical Submittals, and approval documents as per specification and drawings.

Prepares all required submittals and schedules subsequent hand-off to operations.

Decide the appropriate mix of products and installation methods to provide the most cost effective solution to the customer.

Prepare products & third party products BOM after going through client requirement.
