1. Variations to Client

a. Identification of Variation.

I. Review of various correspondences from / to the consultant.

II. Co-ordinate with different Depts. / Subcontractors.

III. Advice Contract Administrator for official Notification.

IV. Report / inform CA / Contracts Manager about Variations

a. Preparation of Variation

I. Instruct & Lead QS’s to prepare Variation

II. Liaise with other Depts.

III. Monitor the progress of work.

IV. Review of the various related Contract Documents.

V. Ensure quality & present ability of the document.

VI. Review of the prepared documents prior to submission.

b. Submission & Follow up.

I. Liaise with Cost Consultant / Engineer for reconciliation & Finalization.

II. Arrange to provide sufficient documents required by the engineer / Cost Consultant.

III. Obtain the approval from the engineer & report the superiors.

IV. Inform the superiors about hindrance, if any.

 

2. Monthly Interim Valuations

a. Verify the progress measured at site.

b. Co-ordinate with other Depts. And Sub Contractors.

c. Submit Progress percentage to the Consultant.

d. Arrange, Lead & Co-ordinate the joint Inspection.

e. Prepare the Valuation.

I. Put the progress agreed by the cost consultant.

II. Prepare the variation Component based on the Variations prepared / approved.

III. Input the materials on site.

IV. Verify overall presentation.

V. Ensure all the works done by the company & sub contractors are included.

f. Liaise with Consultant.

I. Arrange the documents requested by consultant.

II. Clarify the methods adopted in the preparation.

III. Obtain the payment Certificate and report to the Superiors.

 

3. Sub Contract Progress Payments & Variations a. Progress payments.

I. Verify the progress of works measured on site.

II. Ensure cross checked with the Client’s payment certificate.

III. Verify the Sub Contract provisions.

IV. Ensure the documents viz. Delivery Notes, Material Inspection Requests, Work Inspection Requests etc. is verified.

V. Verify the accomplishment statement.

b. Variations.

I. Verify the Provisions in the Original Contract.

VI. Review the Variations prepared.

VII. Co-ordinate with Other Depts.

c. Back Charges – Ensure all the contra- charges are applied to the payments to the sub contractors.

4. Other works a. Prepare periodical reports related to the Valuations.

b. Assist in preparation of the variation schedules.

c. Prepare the final account for the sub-contractors.

d. Assist by providing the necessary information’s in the preparation of Performance M entoring Reports.
