September 2015- Present

Work in collaboration with other departments within the business around the world to ensure business needs are met in a time effective and cost efficient manner through the use of Microsoft Dynamics MRP. Deal with suppliers on an international level with products ranging from OEM parts to one off prototype orders and orders up to and over $1,000,000. Provide market and supplier analysis to assist in monitoring supplier performance in line with production planning and quality objectives. Expedite orders in line with production schedules to minimise delays to the build line.

Buyer – Lotus Formula 1 Team
November 2014–June 2015

A buyer with composite and machining buying experience and production planning using Microsoft Dynamics AX in the fast paced, high pressure environment of Formula 1. Experienced in dealing directly with key suppliers on an international scale and working with a multi-million pound annual budget, processing orders on a daily basis with values between £1000 and £100,000. Experience dealing with a range of product lines and assemblies that went in to building the chassis and aerodynamic components of the 2015 championship cars. Worked alongside the design office and the production planners to ensure components and materials conformed to strict regulations and arrived on time to meet build team deadlines. Reporting to the Production Control Manager with data on delivery and production status to provide updates to departmental managers.

Procurement and Logistics – Ariel Motor Company Ltd
July 2013–September 2014

Working within the logistics and procurement department, dealt effectively with customers and suppliers on an international level to ensure that components were ordered and dispatched in a timely manner in order to meet customer and company demands.
