Key Experience Includes

• Directly managing a team of 15 skilled and semi-skilled technicians set out in a 4 tiered rank structure, responsible for various systems within the Command and Information department in order to meet the overall Command aim.

• Influencing members of senior management in the form of technical briefs regarding system performance to determine future availability and the effect on Operational Capability (OC).

• Attending regular meetings regarding METS (Manpower, Equipment, Training, and Sustainability) to ascertain requirements and to highlight any shortcomings.

• Planning, executing and evaluating routine maintenance of various Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electronic based systems ranging from day to day, to long term periodicity using Maintenance Management Systems such as UMMS, AMOS and SAP.

• Liaising with external authorities in order to implement changes to systems by contractor support.

• Appointed as the Senior Flight Deck Officer (FDO). Mentored and trained probationary FDO’s up to fully trained strength in order to provide maximum Air Operational capability for the current asset.

• Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of high value assets in excess of £6m
