For the past 15 years I worked very closely with ABC & KCC and I feel that I have an excellent working relationship with both of the clients. I believe that the way I have worked with the clients has helped me to strive forward within my role at Biffa.

I’m able to deliver a high quality of service while keeping within budget & making sure that all KPI’s are meet, also ensuring that the company’s health & safety policies & procedures are adhered to.

Over the past fifteen years I have been sent to various locations all over the country on contract start-ups. This is to assist with the driver training & office training and making sure that all members off staff are fully aware of all the company procedures.

Career Summary

Biffa (previously UK Waste)
2000-Present

Site Supervisor promoted to Multi-Site Supervisor promoted to Operations Manager

May 2000 I joined UK Waste as the site supervisor in Folkestone HHWS. In August 2001 Biffa brought out UK waste and I was offered the job as Site’s supervisor over the Ashford & Folkestone HHWS. While looking after the sites I also became involved with the Ashford street cleansing contract. As time passed the depot manager was moved into a senior support role looking after various sites throughout the south of England. I was then promoted to Operations Manager which left me to run the street cleansing contract and the Kent CA contract. In 2011 the company acquired Greenstar I then took over another seven sites in various locations throughout the south east. In June of 2013 KCC built / opened a new transfer station in Ashford, this is another area of the business that I look after. July 2013 we were invited (Biffa) to step in as emergency cover at the Enfield HWRC, due to the client not being happy with the present company. Within the first month me and my team made a very positive impact on the site to which was praised very highly by the client.
