Master thesis: Determinants of fresh vs processed bananas’ consumption in urban areas in Uganda.

The current rising shift in demand from raw bananas to processed powder bananas in East African countries, despite the former being regarded cheaper and healthier, persuaded me to investigate the factors affecting the urban consumers’ choice of banana type. This study was based upon a survey of 220 participants selected from 5 divisions of Kampala. I used Stata, Spss, Excel and R programing for data analysis.
