Duties:-
Procuring and Managing Foundry (Moulding), Consumables like sands, Resins, hardeners (Catalyst), Paints (coatings) etc. Making sure production is not halted by the lack of.

Calibrating Mixers and looking after their general perfomance i.e Changing Blades, cleaning and general maintainence.

Sand testing and trying to maintain a good quality of moulding sands.Tests done include PH TEST, Loss of ignition, Sieve Analysis, water content, Tensile and hardness tests and more.

Mould Making:- this includes (moulding) making sand Moulds, Coring them and making them ready for casting.

Ceramic Core Making:- involves moulding and cast ceramic cores and have over the time gained invaluable expertise in this field.

Duties:-
Worked as an all round Foundry man. responsibilities included Moulding , Core making Melting and casting.

Mainly worked night shift as a Caster for most of the time but did an occasional Sand Mould of some Fettling.

Also worked in Die -Casting (Aluminium)
