Child Minder
January 2010 – till present

Being a role model to many children whilst child minding has inspired me to work in a school. Having the responsibility of looking after people’s children has made me a mature and respected young woman. Adapting to several different children’s individual needs has led me to be flexible and has given me the confidence to take charge of situations and manage a diverse spectrum of behavior in children and young adults.

Taking a music and performance course at Bath College enabled my confidence to where I wanted it to be. I was able to interact was many interesting people and perform in front of a big audiences. Working as part of team to make music and perform every week led me to prepare for big deadlines and organize my self and my team to be able focus and arrange performances that were approaching.

Working as an Apprentice Business Administrator in a Special Needs School has allowed me to work towards higher goals and exceed people’s expectations. I have proven my capability of managing filing systems, handling telephone calls, recording and delivering messages. Has given me the opportunity to explore all aspects of the Business environment, which I enjoy very much. As this facilitates my personable and engaging personality. Communication has been a huge part of my role; it has led me to building great relationships with parents and colleagues. Working in a busy environment has challenged me to remain calm within stressful situations and driven me to meet expected deadlines effectively. Within this role I have demonstrated stills in filing, punctuality, reliability and how to cope under pressure whilst up building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents. Within in my role I have been required to utilize word documents, excel spreadsheets, power points, outlook calendars and emails. I have thoroughly enjoyed this job although I now wish to develop my skills further with in a permanent role.
