Short Bio:

I am a research scientist in the field of molecular oncology. I have shown myself to be self-motivated, committed and determined in achieving a set goal as proven by my academic, research, work and social life. I started my research career in a Molecular Oncology lab at the University of Essex with Professor Elena Klenova as the group leader and my supervisor and was also part of the molecular medicine group at the same institution. I acquired my PhD in biological sciences.

In this academic research position, I act as an independent investigator and work in collaboration with Prof. Elena Klenova in the molecular oncology laboratory to further study the molecular pathways of five drug targets in prostate cancer development using an array of molecular biology techniques. I am also involved in generating data and write-up of papers for publication.

As part of my doctoral training, I assist my supervisor and other academic staffs in the biological science department in the smooth running of practical sessions and sometimes aid in marking in order to ease their work load. I also improved my time management skills and know what to expect as a project leader or as a member of a team working on a project as I did on several occasions.
