Project: Shell MDS – In-service Inspection – Maintenance /Plant turnaround

Inspection of static equipments such as Heat exchangers, Columns, vessels, furnaces, pipe lines & fittings during shutdowns as well as on stream. Specify scope of inspection; provide short-term as well as long term recommendations regarding repairs & replacements. Issue inspection work lists detailing the methods of repair, materials to be used, fabrication methods, specify welding procedures/NDT methods/heat treatment, quality control & test procedures. Checking & approval of the quality and correctness of construction and repair work. Checking and verification of the equipment minimum allowable thickness (MAT), corrosion rates, service life estimation, determination of rejection limits and take corrective action accordingly. Preparation of inspection history of individual equipments: updating inspection and repair records including data, anticipated repairs, and thickness readings.
