The project is an extension to an existing petro chemical island in the United Arab Emirates for Abu-Dhabi National Oil Company. Rock armour revetment with concrete x-block armour protection to the new dredged sand island extension.

Contracts Engineer – SPI-Appleton – Production of method statements/risk assessments, lift plans, comparing quotes for materials/services. Visting sites to check health and safety, site diaries, permits etc.

Section Engineer – Bam Nuttall – Woodlesford FAS – Supervision and review of piling subcontractor. Installed piles have a concrete ground beam with brick cladding and coping stone. This project also required a large earthworks package to provide a attenuation pond to be constructed and an insitu reinforced concrete wall.

Section Engineer – Bam Nuttall – M6 Junction 16 Improvements – Supervison and review of piling subcontractor for M6 approach road widening. Steel sheet piles were installed with both Leader Rig and Movax side-grip vibratory hammers.

Oct 2014 – Present

Freelance supervisor for Piling firm working on a new basement in the Battersea area of London. The site consists 700nr piles in varying lengths installed in a complex shape with 2nr Giken silent pile press, 3nr auger rigs, a Movax and a Leader rig.
