Key Qualifications

 To carryout internal inspection for Pressure vessels, storage tanks, steam boilers during shutdowns for internal condition and noting internal damages includes cracks, thinning, internal corrosion and other internal damages. Makes preliminary reports for internal findings and Provide recommendation to repair the damages as per code and standard.

 On-stream inspection for Pressure vessels, rotating equipment’s, Filters, safety relief valves and to report for any significant findings with computerized system (Maximo).

 Ensuring the NDT activities such as LPT, MPT, RT, and UT during pre-fabrication and after completion of welding activities of piping and equipment’s are being carried out as per the relevant standards and specifications.

 Attend request for inspection for painting, coating, wrapping, holiday test at piping’s and equipment’s.

 To coordinate activities with Operations and Engineering/Maintenance department personnel and Third party contractors for inspection work.

 To carry out Corrosion under lagging survey at applicable insulated piping’s and equipment’s.

 Plan monthly work flow execution chart and to execute the inspection jobs as per plan.

 Coordinates with maintenance and operation supervisor for rectification of damages and failures.

 Witness bolt torqueing, pneumatic and hydrostatic test for pressure safety valves, Control valves, isolation valves etc.

 Attend on call duty during Weekend for covering all required inspection activities.

 Review test packages, making punch list and outstanding lists, witness and approve pre-commissioning cleaning, hydrostatic tests, flushing, and reinstatement.

 To follow up execution of repairs and modifications/PCR’s, materials selection, welding, painting, insulation and wrapping activities.

• Assigned to the above-mentioned position as Snr. NDT Technician with responsibilities to witness, verify welding, NDT, hydro testing, material traceability and pre commissioning activities during shutdown work at Mina Al Ahmadi refinery.

• To execute, supervise, interpret and reports on all Nondestructive testing activities, to assess and identify the condition on newly fabricated or in service piping and equipment.

• Maintains records in the computerized systems, updating inspection test results and data in specialized inspection software system (PIMS & EIMS).
