Experience
Personal & clinical Assistant (2009 – 2013)
Hamra Eye Clinic, Dr.Jamal Bleik
 I acted as a clinical assistant at an ophthalmology clinic, where I gained experience in optometry, clinical patient evaluation, measuring intra-ocular pressure, and diagnosis of ophthalmology cases. We mainly worked with children with strabismus cases. However, we had a vast variety of cases involving all ages as well.

 I performed many diagnostic procedures pertaining to ophthalmology, such as Optical Coherence Tomography, Corneal Topography, Retinal angiography, Visual field testing, IOL calculation, and also performed Corneal Cross Linking. In addition to that I assisted in LASIK and PRK surgeries, as well as YAG and ARGON laser treatment sessions.

 In addition to my nursing duties, I was the personal assistant to Dr. Jamal Bleik, pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery, and manager of the clinic. I used to organize clinic hours in three different hospitals, scheduling surgeries, following up on patient cases and files, organizing conferences, travel schedule, meetings, and schedule exam dates for his medical students.

Registered Nurse (2004 – 2007)
American University Of Beirut Medical Center
 A registered nurse on a medical-surgical floor, caring for a team of ten post and pre surgical patients. I was also on call for assistance in difficult intra venous therapy cases, due to my highly advanced skills in this field.

 Occasionally performed as assistant manager, where I was involved in scheduling, budgeting, conducting staff meetings, and major decision making.

 Was involved in preparing and implementing the changes related to the international accreditation process the hospital underwent at the time. Which helped greatly increase my knowledge and perspective regarding quality management.

Registered Nurse (2000 – 2003)

 Nurse in charge of the private medical team of the head of state.

 Private phlebotomist for HRH Sheikh Zayed, the president of the country at the time.
