2012-Present Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer and Team Lead for the design and factory support activities for India built Off Highway Trucks 773E and 777D

2010 -2012 Testing Lead – Wheel loaders machine software testing India team (Large Wheel Loaders and Medium Wheel Loaders), besides testing one of the Wheel loader programs using dSPACE HIL simulator

2009-2010 Testing Engineer, primarily responsible for testing the software releases and reporting the issues , triggers and aiding the software developers and Architect to resolve the issues and identify the root causes.

2008-2009 Joined CAT as a campus recruit and developed testing capabilities by undergoing hands-on training on the tools used in testing and simultaneously worked on multiple projects partnering with the assigned mentors

KEY PROJECTS

Machine Systems :

Off Highway Trucks (OHT)

 Currently the Team Lead for the OHT machine systems team in India. Primary point of contact for the Electrical and Electronic content on the Caterpillar Trucks built in Thiruvallur Factory.

 Primarily responsible for planning and coordinating the design , testing and Implementation activities for the new systems to meet the DGMS requirements and Coal India requirements

 Machine system software coordinator for the Chassis, Brake and Engine Electronic control module software releases. Primarily responsible for coordinating with the software development teams and the Product group to deliver the agreed software content for each release

Next Gen – Off Highway Trucks (OHT):

 Currently the Team Lead for the NPI (New Product Introduction) OHT machine systems E&E design and development team for the Next Generation Trucks for India.

 Primarily responsible for planning , coordinating and reviewing the design , testing and Implementation of the new systems to meet the DGMS requirements and Coal India requirements and porting the existing content on to the Next Gen Trucks

Special Attachments for DGMS Requirements:

 Currently the Team Lead for the attachements like Proximity warning sensor, Operator seat belt warning system and Autodipper

 Primarily responsible for planning , coordinating and reviewing the design , testing and Implementation of the new systems to meet the DGMS requirements and Coal India requirements and porting the existing content on to the Next Gen Trucks

dSPACE:

Wheel Loaders (WL)

 Wheel loader systems testing team in India and working on creating automation scripts for testing the softwares of Medium wheel Loaders (MWL) using PYTHON based tool on dSPACE.

 Tested around 5 pre-production softwares releases for Medium Wheel Loaders (MWL). The softwares for the various subsystems such as Transmission and Implement, etc… were tested successfully within the stipulated time

Articulated Truck (AT)

 Provided technical leadership for the Articulated team India testing team

 Previously worked on creating automation scripts for testing the transmission related features for Articulated Trucks (AT) on dSPACE.

FAST (Functional Automated System Tester) :

Track Type Tractor (TTT)

 Worked on developing CVI test scripts for testing the Transmission related features for Track Type Tractor (TTT) on FAST

Wheeled Excavator (WEX)

 Worked on developing LTSL test scripts for testing the Transmission and Implement related features for Wheeled Excavator (WEX) on FAST

 Tested several software (Flash file) releases for Wheeled Excavator on FAST

Articulated Truck (AT)

 Worked on developing LTSL(Logical Testing and Scripting Language) test scripts for testing the Transmission related features for Articulated Truck (AT) on FAST

 Tested several software (Flash file) releases for Articulated Truck on FAST

ONSITE ASSIGNMENTS

 Oct 2011 – Dec 2012 : Completed an assignment in US (Peoria ,IL) for System level software testing for Medium wheel loaders and supported the commisioning and maintanance of the dSPACE HIL tester

 Jan 2010 – Aug 2010 : Underwent training in the US (Peoria ,IL) for a period of 7 months to get trained on the Medium wheel loaders and to develop the competency to build a team in India.

 Feb 2010 – Mar 2010 : Underwent training in PPG (Peoria Proving Grounds) to get practical exposure on the machine
