The successful Senior Compliance Officer will lead a team of quality compliance staff to assure compliance with the principles of GMP and the Pharma Services quality management system.

  • £55,000-£65,000 per annum

The Role

  • Be a primary contact for other departments providing quality advice/guidance to assure compliance
  • Review quality systems and practices for improved efficiencies and compliance
  • Oversee the change management and deviation management systems
  • Provide a quality review on a range of quality documentation and GMP records
  • Actively integrate risk management principles into the Quality Management System
  • Become a member of the Pharma Services audit team
  • Assist in the mechanisms in place to receive, review, investigate and respond to customer complaints
  • Participate in the preparation and hosting of customer / regulatory audits/inspections
  • Develop and manage the collection of metrics



  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in the chemistry of pharmaceutical discipline
  • Considerable experience of working within an established Quality System within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of solid oral dosage forms in development scale including clinical supply, and commercial-scale manufacture
  • Experience in all quality systems including CAPA, complaint handling, auditing, change management, product quality reviews, risk analysis, KPI’s, supplier qualification
  • An awareness of the regulatory environment relating to the manufacture and supply of pharmaceutical products
  • Strong communication and project management skills
