This well respected conglomerate, based in the Pacific region for over 150 years, is seeking a Training Manager.  Candidates with a TOT qualification would at an advantage in addition to having appropriate experience, details of which are given below.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Design and implement training plans for improvements to customer service
  • Establish processes and tools to monitor improvement in performance
  • Review existing training procedures produced by third parties to assess appropriateness and relevance
  • Monitor training programs and manuals and update where necessary
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
  • Identify current training needs by means of appraisals and job analysis and carry out consultations with line managers
  • Manage the customer service team with their day-to-day projects
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and department goals are met
  • Organise and provide opportunities for professional development to achieve improved performance

 

Candidate Requirements

The ideal Training Manager should have the following:

  • Proven experience in customer service management
  • A Training of Trainer (TOT) qualification will be advantageous
  • An “Able Trainer” and developer of people
  • Strong organisational and management skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
