Our client is looking to appoint a Design orientated Project Manager in the United Kingdom.

The Role

• The Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and project stakeholders in order to deliver projects according to plan and on time.
• The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements

• Significant project management experience in a similar role.
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team to work effectively and deliver on project milestones, and team / individual project tasks, without direct line management responsibilities.
• Ability to take the lead on developing project plans that meet the scope and requirements of the project as per the agreed business plan/strategy.
• Strong communication skills, including the capability of providing direction to project team members both locally and remotely, and providing accurate concise feedback to customers and stakeholders.
• Proven commitment to achieving outcomes to schedule and on or under budget
• Proven commitment to constant improvement, to improve efficiency and effectiveness within their domain.
• Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company professionally.
• Ability to analyse and communicate risks and apply strategies to minimise them
• Ability to set and meet team and individual goals and deadlines.
