Senior Engineering Technician Needed in Saudi Arabia

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineering Technician to become part of a dedicated team working on a project involving the construction of a large multi-service training facility. The project will offer the successful applicant an interesting, challenging and varied workload as well as allow them to develop personally and professionally.

The Role

• Undertake design of Civil Engineering elements of the proposed scheme.
• Provide technical assistance to the members of the Engineering team.
• Assist the Engineering team to ensure project delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Expected to exercise a degree of autonomy in decision making related to the accomplishment of the team’s objectives.
• Respond to requests for information
• Ensure that project information systems are kept up to date
• Responsible for technical information flow
• Follow established policies, procedures and instructions to ensure action is taken in a timely manner

Requirements

• Engineering degree
• Minimum 10 years experience working in Engineering
• Experience in the use of Civil Engineering design software
• Experience and ability to work within project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with clients, architects, contractors, other consultants (at all levels)
• Arabic and English speaking
