Skills Provision is searching for an experienced Sales Director for a well-known engineering company.

The successful applicant will ultimately be responsible for management of the Sales Team and will report directly to the Managing Director.

Initially this position will be remotely based within United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will cover not on the UK market but also the Middle East and the Africa.

£3500-£5000 p/m based on experience

The Role

The primary focus will be on selling the company’s signature engine series to assemblers across the United Kingdom. The successful applicant will report to the Managing Director.

Duties include:

  • Manage current clients and develop new connections
  • Develop a strategic plan in line with company targets
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Understand and adapt to customer and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate sales records
  • Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders
  • Report to senior management regularly
  • Travel across the country and internationally



  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Similar industry experience e.g. engines, generators etc.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering would be welcomed
  • Established connections with OEMs
  • Demonstrable track record of success
  • A team player
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
