Project Quality Manager Required in Kuwait

An opportunity for an experienced Project Quality Manager / Engineer to join a leading process systems vendor for the oil and gas industry in Kuwait.

The employing company require an experienced QA/QC inspector with a clear understanding of manufacturing procedures.

The Role

• To lead, control and develop all Quality Assurance & Quality Control activities relating to specific projects.
• Generate project quality plans
• Attend and chair pre-inspection meetings and suppliers works
• Attend final inspections
• Review of supplier manufacturing procedures
• Carry out project-based Q/C reviews and new supplier audit assessments
• Assist with the technical aspects of materials record book compilation, review of material certificates and other test reports.
• Technical file compilation
• Be available to assist other office operations where possible
• Manage, coordinate and carry out internal audits

Requirements

• The post holder should be an experienced Quality Assurance /Quality Control inspector with a clear understanding of manufacturing procedures.
• Relevant degree holder
• Sector relevant experience
• Working knowledge of HSE practices
• Capable of face-to-face dealings with suppliers and customer representatives on a technical level
• Available for international travel
• Arabic and English speaking
