Meat Processors Needed in Scotland

Skills Provision International currently requires Meat Processors for positions in Sutherland, Scotland.

With four decades in the industry, the employing company prides itself on producing the highest quality venison and game.

These roles will commence in October, running until December.

For these vacancies, the company is happy to accept workers using the Frontier Worker Permit.

Sector: Food Production

Location: Scotland

Position: Temporary (3 months)

Salary

• £13-£14 p/h
• Performance bonus of £3 per hour (payable on contract completion)

Additional Benefits

Accommodation provided at £50 p/w.

The Role

• Skinning whole carcasses (head and feet already removed)
• Trimming and removing all soiled and contaminated meat
• Carcases are to be cleaned and ready for the vet to inspect

Working Hours

7 am-4.30 pm.

Requirements

• A minimum of one season as a skinner/filleter in a meat processing environment
• Confident using knives and additional cutting equipment
• Ability to follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organisation skills
• Be able to work accurately and efficiently
• Physically fit due to the demands of the work
• Comfortable working in a cold environment 3-7 degrees Celsius
