The Role

• Reporting to the Shift Supervisor/Department Manager duties include:
• Independently perform nursing duties
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient situations
• Follow Emergency room protocols and procedures
• Care for patients of all ages
• Treat a variety of medical situations
• Liaise with paramedics/EMTs

Requirements

For all applicants:

• At least 1 year of experience
• A minimum of 6 months of emergency department experience is desirable
• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• NCLEX Certified
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• PALS, TNCC and MICN would be welcomed

For applicants from the US:

• Hold a California R.N License or California R.N interim permit
• NCLEX Certified

For applicants from Canada:

• Registered Nursing license and Nursing degree
• Hold Canadian Citizenship
• Willing to commit for at least 2 years to the Visa
