Skills Provision is searching for a Business Development Manager in Oman, Middle East.

The employing company is a leading global supplier of fuel dispensing equipment, fully integrated point of sale systems and back-office accounting systems for the global petroleum marketplace. They are a market-leading supplier of automatic tank gauging and fuel management systems, including submersible pumps and pressurized line leak detectors.

  • $100,000-$120,000 p.a (Tax Free) + bonuses

The Role

  • Develop the team, individual goals, objectives and measurements with team members to support the business KPIs.
  • To be aware of the areas efficiencies and actively work towards improvements.
  • To re-enforce policies and procedures in a timely and consistent manner.
  • To maintain high employee morale and consistent standards across the organisation.
  • Provide one to one coaching and support to develop team members to achieve their best including probation reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Manage attendance and deal with resulting issues as required, liaising with HR to ensure the relevant procedures are followed.

 

Requirements

The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience (min 4 years) and strong team leadership skills.

  • Key characteristics include:
  • Ability to motivate people in addition to providing guidance and support in order to achieve the best result from team members.
  • Excellent communication skills will be required with the ability to listen, empathise, and provide effective solutions to any problems.
  • Ideally, the candidate will come from a customer service background within a service provider, manufacturing, or engineering company.

Skills:

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
