Skills Provision is searching for Assistant Chief Engineers for a systems engineering organisation.

They currently require 3 engineers to join their expanding team.

The Role

• Provide Engineering leadership for specified business units.
• Under delegation provide technical review and sign-off for projects and proposals.
• Support business development activity for bids and campaigns.
• Provide subject matter expertise and experienced support for particular prospects.
• Technical management of projects/bids including engineering management functions as well as technical lead/design authority, working closely with the project manager.
• Own technical risks and associated mitigation activity.
• Implement plans, tools and process to support system engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Degree qualified
• Proactive, and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
• Good communicator and team player, able to liaise at all levels across multiple internal/external stakeholders.
• Systems engineering experience on large projects
• Subject matter expertise in: Technical architect in comms. Database architectures, Enterprise architecture, software architectures, open systems, combat system test and integration, security accreditation, Change and configuration control management.
• Confident operators
• Ambitious nature
