Veteran of HM army having served 8 years in the royal engineers serving in a variety of theatres around the world. Self motivated welding engineer who enjoys working in a variety of environments and materials. Adept at quality assurance practices, client relations and cost analysis forecasting production targets. I am well versed in welding to schematics and plans including interpreting CAD drawings. I am experienced in welding and sheet metal instructional qualities fully conversant in welding processes including mig Tig gas and MMA. Fully competent of cutting processes including Oxy acetylene and plasma. Experience gained from ferrous and non ferrous materials in muliti positional techniques. Extensive knowledge with the use of power tools and workshop machinery including guillotines bandsaws and press for manufacturing for commercial businesses and bespoke items.

March 2020 - fabricator/ welder heritage boiler steam services. Built and manufactured steam engines for heritage locomotives. Designed and built bespoke parts and ancillaries. Worked from engineering drawings and also ad-hoc designs.
January 2019 - march 2020 - interserve workshop supervisor/ instructor. Ran a commercial workshop and trained/instructed unskilled workforce of upto 60 men. Planned, budgeted forecast and in some cases designed fabrications for commercial businesses to be made from sheet metal through to powder coating within our workshop.
