IDdesign is a leading Scandinavia furniture and Lifestyle franchise with stores in the Middle East, Europe and Scandinavia. In Cyprus there are 4 stores operating under the ID Design name.

Bottom line Improvement

• 25%-30% increase in sales yearly the first 3
• Increased basket size by 35%.
• Reduced headcount by 30%

• Secured new brands: Aslanis Home, LSA, Spizy
• Developed direct business co-operation with manufacturers thus eliminating middle-men and therefore achieved a 30% reduction in landing costs

• Successfully opened a new store in Paralimni Area (1000 square metres)
• Relocation of 2 stores in Limassol and Paphos areas (2000 and 1500 square metres respectively)
• Complete renovation of the flagship store in Nicosia (3000 square metres)

• 120 apartments in Pyla village, Larnaca Cyprus (turnkey project)
• Complete renovation of Rodon Hotel in Agros 154 rooms (turnkey project)
• Supplied custom-made movable furniture for the Intercontinental Hotel in Aphrodite Hills in Paphos

• Developed new pricing strategy with the slogan “As much as you pay is as much as you get for free”

• Conceptualized and developed a new chain of 4 stores called “The Furniture Outlet” to enter a different market segment

• Organized a one month clearance event in the Nicosia store (flagship store) that managed to generate 6 times its average monthly turnover in the one month period

• Negotiated a 5 year extension of the Iddesign franchise contract even though it was in default

• Prepared and contacted numerous on the job training sessions for new sales persons as well as prepared and trained senior sales persons on new products, cross-selling, up-selling, follow up on leads, telephone skills, and many more

• Master user of the new ERP system that was installed in 2008 and master trainer for the company’s employees. Managed the process of selecting CRM and WMS systems.
