I worked at a large acute hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust for approximately 2.5 years. I worked across 3 hospital sites on the medical and surgical wards, as well as weekly outpatient clinics. My role also involved attending multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the medical plan is consistently in the patient\'s best interest. I have also taken part in presentations to patients, dietetic teams as well as the wider medical and nursing team.
Due to my busy caseload, I have developed strong organisational and prioritisation skills, leading to effective time management. Due to sick leaves and annual leaves within the Dietetic team, I have worked in specialist areas due to my keen nature in wanting to learn. This also shows that I am a team player and further improved my communication skills as to ensure effective handovers.
