Core responsibility - Mechanical Maintenance in charge of 5800MT per day Cement Plant.

Responsibility

• Preparation of Project Profile
• Preparation of Tender Documents
• To Make all schedule for procurement.
• Inventory Management.
• Monitor the ERP.
• Spare parts budgeting & evaluate the cost center & expenses.
• Evaluate the raw material inventory & forecast the 3 month plan for Raw material consumption. Evaluate the price guide line to Purchase Raw materials & spare parts which with considering all standard data of freight & inflation& give report to management for 3 month projection ( specially Foreign Purchase)
• Preparation of CPM, Bar Chart and monthly Progress Report.
• Evaluation of the tender & awarded the contract to the competent tendered.
• Supervision of Erection & Installation of machinery. Implement the work as per Specifications, Drawing & Design.
• Monitoring the total construction work as a Team Leader.
• To provide technical support to the erection team.
• General Maintenance as well as schedule & preventive.
• Make target of minimum breakdown & maximum out put.
• Plant reliability & ensure the smooth production

• Coordinate with China Heavy Machinery Corporation regarding design & drawing as per process design.

• To provide technical support to the erection team.

• Plant reliability& ensure availability of all plant machinery & auxiliary/ancillary equipment at all time require for smooth manufacturing operation in order to achieve set production target.
• Specialist input of plant modification & improved operating efficiency.
• Maintenance cost reduction.
• Break down elimination& down time reduction.
• Maintaining of spares & administration of Technical stores for mechanical spare parts.
• Arranging plant inspection & maintenance of records including reporting/feedback on prevailing (If any) substandard condition of operation, Machine, Maintenance etc.
• Arranging/organizing training of Operators to improve Technical skill.
• Asset care-critical Machinery &equipments, auxiliary equipments, changing of oils, Crane, Payloader,Dump truck, Truck mounted crane, Excavator, generator& shore crane.

1. I have completed the installation of a hot gas project to improve the quality of cement and increase production through put.
2. Implemented a maintenance programmed to upgrade the existing jetty equipment to ensure safe and efficient berthing of coaster vessels.
3. Designed and successfully tested a trial fly ash transport system. This would reduce the handling and product loss during the feeding of the mill.
4. Designed and supervised the installation of a cement storage go down. This has improved the quality of stored cement delivered to customers
5. Have reduced the unscheduled stoppage from 15% to less than 1% through the implementation of proper routine inspection and predictive maintenance.

• Introduced the Master schedule, Daily Work Schedule, Monthly inspection check list, Lubrication schedule, Maintenance Key Performance Index, Machine History Card, Inspection Check List. Etc. Through this the unscheduled maintenance has been reduced by more than 5%. Currently the average unscheduled stoppage is less than 1% from a high of 15%.

• 2007 Break down of Mechanical: Average 4%( Due to unavailability of spare Parts)

• For 2005 per ton expenditure was 37.26BDT
• For 2006 up to Dec: 12.73BDT
• For 2007 up to Dec: 8.75BDT
• I am constantly looking at way to improve on the current situation in order to achieve “Zero” breakdown.
• Currently, I have been appointed to be the Key Person for the maintenance of spare parts inventory for the maintenance department in our new Enterprise Resource Planning system.
• I am also part of the plant purchasing committee to ensure that good quality and competitive priced spare parts are sourced and purchased for the plants.

• Planned maintenance, preparation& execution of maintenance schedule for all plant machinery in consultation with respective sectional head.
• Plant reliability& ensure availability of all plant machineries & auxiliary/ancillary equipment at all time require for smooth manufacturing operation in order to achieve set production target.

• Organizing archive for all design &* as built drawings, Manuals, Specification etc and administration of that.

• Arranging plant inspection & maintenance of records including reporting/feedback on prevailing ( If any) substandard condition of operation, Machine, Maintenance etc.
• Arranging/organizing training of Operators to improve Technical skill.
• Asset care-critical Machinery &equipments, auxiliary equipments, changing of oils, Crane, Payloader,Dump truck, Truck mounted crane, Excavator, generator& shore crane.
• Work shop Management-Design & fabrication of spares in house especially of non standard items including providing support to production for emergency Repairs.
• Proving /Ensure support for shift maintenance on as & when Require.
• Conducting system study using appropriate tools/technique for need assessment for balancing, decongestion/planned modification/maintenance work.
• Project administration& arranging 3P support for meeting emergency plant maintenance requirement including procurement & supervision.
• Implementation of autonomous maintenance & TPM

• Materials, Process& Packing Engineer for production related issues.
• Electrical & Automation Engineer on Electrical &Automation Related Issues.
• Commercial Department for commercial control
• Chemist for Quality control& process related issues.

• Minimum 200000bags@ 50kg of cement per week & n10000MT of bulk cement per week& ensuring g minimum 10000MT of Clinker Discharge as applicable.
• Ensuring 136 hrs reliability hours of operation of all sections on Weekly Basis.
• Quantitive Target on Utility consumption, Maintenance expenditure and down time.
